Clinical Hypnotherapy is exactly what it means – clinical, means conducted in a clinical manner, by a certified hypnotherapist – therapy, meaning, using therapeutic methodologies, to address deep psychological issues.

Hypnotherapy also uses Age Regression and Past Life Regression Therapy (PLRT), to diagnose and treat issues – PLRT is normally used in a context, for which, better understanding is sought.

Will I be hypnotised and under someone control?

Clinical Hypnotherapy is unlike eastern Hypnosis, as it’s generally understood to be. There’s no mesmerising to make you a slave to the Hypnotist’s bidding! No going cock eyed staring at pendulums and such, as seen in movies. The Clinical Hypnotherapist is never in control of you or your mind, as a Hypnotist is. Therefore, the process is completely scientific and safe…so relax…(literally)!

What role does the Hypnotherapist play in the process?

You are methodically guided into a state of relaxation (yes, without pendulums) and your issues are therapeutically diagnosed, at the subconscious level; analysed, treated and healed, by guess who…none other than YOU! The Clinical Hypnotherapist merely facilitates the process.

Will I be unconscious and remember anything that happens?

At no point during the session, do you lose your senses or are not in control of them. In fact, you continue to remain conscious at one level and can even choose, not to share some of your insights with your therapist, although, the latter, is professionally and ethically bound by confidentiality.

At every stage of the session, your permission is sought and if not granted, your therapist cannot continue. So as you can see, it’s you who is pretty much in control of the session. And yes, 9 out of 10 times, you will remember everything of the experience, gaining a new understanding and eventually, acceptance, of your issue.

How many sessions are required and how long does each last?

The number of sessions you may need will depend upon the complexity of your issue and decided by your therapist. Since it resolves at the subconscious level.
